Just as important as making custom candles are the vases that contain them. In fact, this lesson in etching vases has many potential applications.
In these vases you could:
Fill with corks
Make a flower arrangement (fake or real)
Pour wax to make a candle
Glue a handle to make a drinking glass
A marker holder for your craft desk
I used blue painters tape to make the design, but be careful to get the tape fully pressed to the vase so none of the Armor Etch seeps into the cracks.
Design as you see fit then apply a more than liberal amount of Armor Etch. (Remember that it's an acid so use caution).
